Garganta de Jaranda gorge, in the municipality of Jarandilla de la Vera, Cáceres province, has numerous natural swimming pools where you can cool down on hot summer days.
Garganta de Jaranda begins at the Cáceres town of Guijo de Santa Bárbara and ends at the river Tagus, creating numerous bathing areas such as Trabuquete, Calajomero and the natural swimming pools known as La Puente, La Rehoya and El Pulguillas.
The gorge is traversed by a large flow of water, making it a great place for a refreshing dip on a hot summer day. It is located in a unique setting, where you can even see ibex (mountain goats) and explore hiking trails that are marked out to let you discover every hidden corner of this beauty spot. -
