Llanos De Zorita and Sierra Brava Reservoir SPA

This Special Protection Area which forms part of the tableland of Trujillo and Cáceres has a dual landscape, as it contains an area of steppe-like plains and another marshy area. In the former, you will discover the Sierra Brava reservoir, which provides shelter for a fair number of birds, especially in winter.

Because this protected space is of great ecological value due to its biodiversity, which is markedly seasonal. And remember that the waterways in this area dwindle drastically in summer, turning the reservoir into the watering hole of different species, such as the great bustard and the little bustard.
